Две соосные конические поверхности номинальной формы и с номинальным углом конуса, между которыми должна располагаться реальная поверхность конуса.

1. Различают наибольший и наименьший предельные конусы, которые расположены относительно друг друга в осевом направлении таким образом, что в любой плоскости, перпендикулярной к оси конусов, диаметры наибольшего и наименьшего предельных конусов равны соответственно наибольшему и наименьшему предельным диаметрам конуса в данном поперечном сечении.
2. Понятие о предельных конусах применяют, когда задан допуск TD диаметра конуса в любом сечении.
1 - реальная поверхность; 2 - поле допуска конуса; 3 - наибольший предельный конус; 4 - наименьший предельный конус.
